Oracle Corporation (ORCL) is an American multinational tech company headquartered in Redwood Shores, California. The company sells database software and technology, cloud-engineered systems, and enterprise software products—particularly its own brands of database management systems. In 2015, Oracle was the second-largest software maker by revenue, after Microsoft.

The company has a strong history of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. In particular, Oracle was one of the first companies to sign the American Business Act on Climate Pledge in 2015, committing to reduce its absolute scope 3 emissions by 50% by 2030. The company has also been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for North America for 11 consecutive years.

Looking forward, Oracle is well-positioned to continue its strong ESG performance.
